Jane Schon
Jane is a multidisciplinary artist based in Naarm, specializing in physical theatre, documentary theatre making and audio-driven work. She is a director, dramaturg, producer, stage manager, theatre maker, performer, and publicist. Her training includes the Victorian College of the Arts: Bachelor of Fine Arts Theatre (2020), Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre (2017), as well as a Bachelor of Journalism and Marketing from Queensland University of Technology (2012). Jane works for Performing Lines as the Producer for Sunshine Super Girl (Andrea James), opening at Melbourne Theatre Company this month, prior to this she worked as their Interim Marketing Manager across various shows including Sunshine Super Girl, Enemies of Grooviness Eat Sh!t (Betty Grumble), Epoch Wars (Pony Express), Rinse (Amrita Hepi), and more. Jane is also a Community Outreach Producer at the VCA (2021-present). Her other recent credits include Stage Manager for SLUTNIKTM by Flick (Melbourne Fringe Festival 2022), Co-creator, Producer and Performer in Love Don't Cost A King (Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2022), Dramaturg and On-Set Acting Coach for independent film, In The Meantime by Nicholas Anthony (post-production), and Sound Design Assistant for The Nightline by Roslyn Oades (RISING Festival 2021).
