Fever103 Play Readings hosted by Callum Mackay

Fever103’s Play Readings is an initiative that welcomes emerging actors and writers, providing a platform to perform, engage and discuss.

Curated and hosted by Callum Mackay, the program will continue in 2025, with two to three readings hosted each month. The readings involve groups of actors and writers getting together to read plays - everything from the classics to brand new work - building community and a chance to engage in regular creative practice for emerging artists.

This is a program that is open for all - we welcome creatives from all levels of experience to express interest.

We will open a survey for performers to express interest in the new year.

If you are a writer with new work you’d like to hear read/discussed - please send a brief synopsis of your work and as much of the script as you have to callum@fever103theatre.com.

When: Thursdays, 6.30pm (2 - 3x monthly)

Please note that this is not a public reading, but rather a closed space for each week’s performers and writers to discuss work.

We aim to have lots of fresh faces in the room with each reading - so whether you’re looking to attend regularly or once in a blue moon please reach out!
