Fever103 Studio
Fever103 Studio is an initiative which gives emerging artists a platform to engage, perform and discuss new and established work in both workshops, readings and scene study sessions.
Curated and hosted by Callum Mackay, these sessions involve groups of emerging artists getting together to participate and build community through regular creative practice.
This is a program open for all; actors, writers, makers, dancers… we welcome creatives from all levels of experience to express interest.
Please note that these are not public sessions, but rather a closed space for each week’s artists to discuss and create work.
We aim to have lots of fresh faces in the room with each session - so whether you’re looking to attend regularly or once in a blue moon, please reach out!

Cracking Eggs by Savier D'Arsie-Marquez (New Play)
Cracking Eggs is a series of vignettes exploring queerness in modern Australian context. From the bush to the heart of Melbourne, this work explores a spectrum of experiences, from the dark and ugly to the bright and full. What do we all look for in finding ourselves? That's what we're here to discover.

RUMBLESKIN by Amy May Nunn (Development Reading with Dirty Pennies Theatre Project)
“Wanna know what it feels like? When it happens? When we put our skins on?”
A trucker picks up a pregnant teen on a long stretch of nowhere. A young rodeo rider stumbles into a mysterious ranch. A fugitive comes to a cursed town in search of safety. An affliction known as the Rumbleskin is stretching itself across the country, and if one thing is clear, it’s that nothing is as it seems.
RUMBLESKIN is a new queer folk tale exploring transformation in a strange and dangerous land.
